Google TV at CES 2012

Google TV will be all over CES 2012, with devices from LG, Sony, Vizio, and Samsung in the mix, as well as new platforms and chipsets from Marvell and MediaTek. We're also curious to see if Google's developed any meaningful content partnerships for its smart TV platform, or if it's still trying to go it alone. It should be a wild show — we'll see if this rebirth is enough to keep Google TV alive

Acer at CES 2012: Aspire S5, Timeline Ultra, Iconia Tab A700, and AcerCloud

Acer had some surprises at its CES 2012 event, including the Aspire S5, which it's calling the "world's thinnest ultrabook." The company also introduced its new line of Aspire Timeline Ultra laptops, teased a quad-core, full 1080p Iconia Tab, and launched the AcerCloud cloud syncing service, which bears an uncanny resemblance (at least in this reveal) to Apple's iCloud service.
